On Saturday June 20th I attended Vernon’s 21st annual Sunshine Festival!  This Festival is one of the largest sidewalk sales & festivals in the North Okanagan! There were activities for all ages. Pony Rides, Bounce N’ Play, Bungee Run, Climbing Wall, anything you can image it was there.

The best part about this event was that it was free to attend, so that meant more people showed up and the streets were packed with people. The festival took over five blocks of the down town, and stages were set up at each end with various entertainers taking a turn! This event was especially popular with the families with young kids, therefore I had tons of kids staring at me, waving and just glancing at me every five seconds!!

It was so cute, then I would wave at them and they would get even shyer!           Eventually they would get brave enough to give me a high five! There was also a dunk tank that was a huge crowd pleaser, I really liked it when my schools principle went in it and a little boy dunked him almost instantly. 🙂 Though I couldn’t stay for as long as I would have liked as I had another event to attend, I was really happy to see such a great the turn out and it was a blast to attend!! And of course the shopping was excellent!!👑
