Follow Sam’s Example

This is what TRUE anti bullying looks like. “Be someone’s hero not a bystander”! This is a story about Samantha, who is at children’s hospital with cancer. Even though she is fighting cancer she still finds it in her huge heart to stand up for a little girl. This is a post that was posted on Facebook by her Mom, it is copied word for word. Way to go Sam, A TRUE HERO!

Face of an Angle

So proud of Sam… Just before dinner, Sam was playing with a group of girls, and somehow the “game” turned into calling the smallest girl (maybe 4 years old) annoying and running away screaming whenever she came close… I figured out what was happening when I heard Sam yell “STOP BEING MEAN” and the little one was crying. The other girls took off, and our Sam took the girl by the hand and told her that she is not annoying, that she is very nice, then asked if she wanted to play animals.

When I spoke to Sam afterwards, all she said was she knows how sad it is to be left out, and she wanted to be a good friend!

A true superhero does not worry what others think. Sam your dream is to be a superhero but in my eyes you already one!1f451
