A little girl who wanted a picture

Accepting White House Mortgages donation of $500

On Thursday April 30th I got all dressed up in my gown and helped out at the twelfth annual Sun FM‘s Have-a-Heart Radiothon, which is a fundraiser that raises money for new equipment, for the Vernon Jubilee Hospital’s children and fertility unit. I was lucky enough to meet all the infamous Vernon radio announcers. These guys are like local celebrities, ask anyone here in Vernon or Armstrong and they will know their names. I got to talk with them on the radio and meet several local people, who came out to share their stories with everyone. All of the stories were about the hospital’s children and fertility unit. I also got to meet several very cute children who loved playing in the play house that the radio was auctioning off. A lot of children thought I was Elsa from Frozen because of my blue gown which was really cute. When all was said and done we found out (after a lot of counting money) that the event raised over sixty thousand dollars!! It was a new Radiothon RECORD. The best thing is that because everyone that was involved volunteered, one hundred percent of the funds raised will go to the Women and Children units at the hospital in Vernon!👑
