On Saturday September 12th I participated in the Salmon Arm Fair parade, riding in a Fire Truck!! The Salmon arm fair is a small town fair and it is very close to my heart. I grew up attending this fair and I also lived in Salmon Arm for a year. The people who come out for this parade are people from all over the Shuswap-Okanagan area, because it is the largest parade in the area, and one of the only parades. Before the parade I got to meet several people such as the local girl guides, and one of the British Columbia Ambassadors.
It was relay cool to be in this parade this year because the B.C Ambassador and I were the first ever “real” Royalty in the parade. All of the kids were screaming “mom it’s a real princess” I also got to ride right behind the Salmon Arm Mayor who lead the parade. It was one remarkable and fun day.
